About Jasper National Park

Jasper National Park, located in Alberta, Canada, is the largest national park within Alberta's Rocky Mountains. It spans an impressive 11,000 km² (4,200 sq mi). The park's history dates back to 1907 when it was established as Jasper Forest Park. It was later designated as a national park in 1930 and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1984. The park's breathtaking landscape includes glaciers from the Columbia Icefield, picturesque springs, serene lakes, stunning waterfalls, and majestic mountains.
